This man belongs to the community called 'Rabari'.
'Rabari' is the name given to a group of people who derive their primary business from the rearing of animals for milk. Traditionally they are camel herders, and were once nomadic people. Now a days a very small percentage of Rabari are nomadic. Today rabari's are most prominent in the Indian states of Gujarat and Rajasthan. |
